James HetField

                James Alan Hetfield was born August 3, 1963. He is of German, English, Irish and Scottish descent. He has two older half-brothers from his mother's first marriage and one younger sister. He attended Downey High School his freshman and sophomore years. He graduated from Orange County's Brea Olinda High School in 1981.

 

      

  He is a musical intelligence genius. His life is based in a lot of extreme facts. It made him reflect a lot about the life and he turns your thoughts into melodies.

        I chose him cause I identify a lot with him and I want to get some experience into the Rock music like him. His history is impressive.

        Hetfield was nine years old when he first began piano lessons, after which he took on his brother David's drums and finally, at the age of fourteen, he began to play guitar with Robert Okner . He also was in a few bands as a teenager – one being Leather Charm and another, Obsession.

        Hetfield identifies Aerosmith as having been his main musical influence as a child, and has said they were the reason he wanted to play guitar. He also cited Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, AC/DC,Motörhead, Thin Lizzy, Ted Nugent and Deep Purple as important influences.

        Actually, he is the main guitarist and singer of the Heavy Metal’s Band Metallica. The band was formed in 1981, after James Hetfield respond to an advertisement that drummer Lars Ulrich placed in the local newspaper. In 2003, training began to consist of lead guitarist Kirk Hammett (who joined the band in 1983) and bassist Robert Trujillo (a member since 2003), as well as Hetfield and Ulrich.

        He is married to the Argentine Francesca Hetfield with whom he has three children, Cali Hetfield, Castor Hetfield , Marcella Hetfield.
